scientific and intellectual inquiry. It is through such inquiry that reverence and awe for
the universe and its myriad contents is created. The Church does not espouse worship

Svetlana became ordained clergy with the Church of Spiritual Humanism by doing what most people do,
filing out a form on the internet. I chose this church for my ordination because, of the choices
presented, its views seemed most similar to my own.

As ordained clergy, I can perform marriages and naming ceremonies.
